TAIPEI, Taiwan (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Nano Superlattice Technology Inc. (hereinafter “Nano”) (OTC Bulletin Board: NSLT), a company engaged in the coating of tools and components with nano structured PVD coatings for the semiconductor, precision machinery and telecommunication industries, announced today that its PVD coatings have passed initial qualifying tests and examinations by Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp. and has received a preliminary trial order for the coating of two industrial components. The order is for the precision nano-coating of a penett and wheel axle which are used in the cutting of glass for TFT-LCD panels. The superhard nano-coating makes the penett and the glass cutting wheel axle extremely resistant to wear and increases its durability and product life by several times.

The order represents a positive step in the development of Nano Superlattice Technology because it is for the coating of components used in the precision cutting of glass products and because it was done in cooperation with Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp. “We are excited to have passed Chi Mei’s preliminary qualifying testing procedures for our nano-coating processes” said nano-coating process supervisor Dr. Cheng Yu-Cheng. Nano announced the completion of mass production machinery in May 2005 and has been developing its nano-coating process in several different application markets with the successful introduction of several new elemental compounds which improve the performance of precision electronics including mobile phones, high-technology manufacturing such as with PCB’s and LCD monitors as well as devices used in cutting and drilling such as those used in the automotive and medical industries.

About Nano Superlattice Technology Inc.

Nano utilizes Arc Bond Sputtering and Superlattice technology to apply multi-layers of super-hard elemental coatings on an array of precision products to achieve a variety of physical properties. The application of the coating on industrial products is designed to change their physical properties, improving an individual product’s durability, resistance, chemical and physical characteristics as well as performance. Nano’s super-hard alloy coating materials were especially developed for printed circuit board drills in response to special market requirements. Nano plans to continue research and development into these techniques due to the vast application range for this type of nanotechnology.
