The struggling economy and the 2009 Form 5500 changes will be among the more pressing issues discussed as more than 25 education sessions with leading industry experts are slated.

Specific session highlights include:

Legislative and Regulatory Update – Topics to be explored include: pension priorities of the new President and Congress; fee disclosure to fiduciaries and plan participants; electronic filing of 5500s; the impact of the new IRS ERPA designation; and EGTRRA updating issues.

Understanding the Economy During Difficult Times – Discussion to include how market fundamentals as well as macroeconomic and geopolitical events affect the investment landscape.

Here We Go Again! Changes to Form 5500 and Mandatory E-filing – Participants will be introduced to the 2009 Form 5500 and will hear the latest information on the new EF AST2 system. This session will offer comprehensive review of the significant form changes.
