Encore Sushi is upscale casual sushi at the entrance to the Cedros Design District, a partnership between chef James La and Chris West. The 42-seat restaurant is at 112 S. Cedros Ave., Solana Beach, CA 92075, steps from the world-famous Belly Up Tavern.
Encore seats 42 in 1,700 square feet and serves beer, wine and sake. Hours are 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday; closed Monday. Happy Hour runs 3 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday for dine-in guests. Encore hosts private events for up to 50 guests, including full buyouts.
