Inspiration Space Port is a proposed year-round family destination attraction being developed in Minnesota around Shuttle Inspiration, a full-scale Space Shuttle mock-up saved from dismantling and transported to Minnesota through the personal efforts of founder Jason Bernick. The shuttle will be suspended and fully accessible inside a spectacular 300-foot-wide, 175-foot-tall dome, wrapped in an exterior LED blanket that will transform the structure into a glowing landmark visible for miles.
Led creatively by Cliff Dew, CEO of Jumping Frog Entertainment and Chief Architect & Creative Director of Inspiration Space Port, Cliff and his team are designing ISP to bring space exploration to life through immersive attractions, interactive technology, simulators and hands-on STEM experiences that inspire families and future generations.
Inspiration Space Port is being designed to make visitors feel as though they have stepped into the future of space exploration. Guests will be able to walk beneath, around and through Shuttle Inspiration while experiencing immersive attractions, space-flight simulators, interactive technology, cinematic environments and hands-on experiences throughout the destination.
