West Slope Conservation Partners is an alliance between four area land trusts to help improve our efforts and collaborate together to find better ways to preserve our open spaces and educate the public about stewardship and responsibility. These land trusts have connected to explore new ways to support each other and further conservation success on the Western Slope. Together we have preserved 193,238 acres of Colorado land, including 120,037 acres of elk ranges, 75,971 of agricultural acres and 462 miles of rivers, lakes and streams.
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo., Nov. 26, 2019 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Four distinct Western Slope Land Trust organizations have formed an alliance to help preserve our western Colorado natural resources and open space. West Slope Conservation Partners is a new collective group, spanning the southwestern corner of Colorado that includes conservation efforts from the following organizations: Colorado West Land Trust, Crested Butte Land Trust, Montezuma Land Conservancy and La Plata Open Space Conservancy.
