RB Firms excited about attendance and anxiously await Next Year!

RIVIERA BEACH, FL – April 25 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Riviera Beach Business Association announced the participation of an enthusiastic crowd of local dignitaries for the First Annual Riviera Beach Business Expo. Council Chairman Chip Armstrong said “This expo will grow a great deal over these next few years as we continue to attract the existing and new business that are the backbone of this city.”

“The Business Association is proud of its volunteers who made this event such a success,” Armstrong added.

A number of community leaders took time from their busy schedules to talk “one-on-one” to the participants creating an electric festival-like atmosphere. Keyes Real Estate-Commercial Division, one of the Gold Sponsors of the event, was very excited about the community turnout and spokesman Gary Vonk, Director of the Commercial Division, indicated a re-commitment for the next year. “We are proud of our participation in the community development and business expo and appreciate the level of participation by so many of the local businesses,” said Vonk.

Chip Armstrong noted the Business Expo highlighted months of coordination and planning and stated that “the redevelopment of this Waterfront city will be the Jewel in the Crown that is South Florida and serve as a magnet for travelers and businesses throughout the Southeast.”

Fidelity Federal was the Presenting Sponsor and the Gold Sponsors for the event were Catalfumo Development and The Keyes Company Realtors. Students from nearby by schools took part in the Expo and honed their interviewing skills as they participated in discussions with local business leaders including Riviera Beach Commissioners Liz Wade as well as newly elected Commissioners Jim Jackson and Norma Duncomb.

Palm Beach County Commissioner Addie Green greeted attendees and participants to the gathering that took place at the Riviera Beach waterfront that will serve as the centerpiece for the community redevelopment. Commissioner Green, in a speech before the gathering, highlighted the cooperation demonstrated by the business community as it created widespread opportunities and success stories within Riviera Beach.

Green complimented Chairman Chip Armstrong hard work that the Expo demonstrated to the community. “This event makes me proud to be part of this community and to be able to work closely with the business and community leaders to do what’s right for the people,” Green said.
