National Mortgage Professional magazine cites individuals that earn a spot on the list as being strong networkers and influencers in the mortgage industry that are esteemed by their peers as continually forging relationships which grow their careers and help others in their network do the same.

Ribultan is largely commended for establishing numerous business relationships and forming strategic alliances with complimentary mortgage technology providers, among other accomplishments. Ribultan’s connections have been key in his ability to successfully drive a number of technology-centric partnerships that resulted in complex integrations and product rollouts that better residential mortgage lending.

Prior to that, he was the vice president of sales at OpenClose, a recognized loan origination system (LOS) vendor. Before OpenClose, he was a business development manager at Portellus, Inc., at the time one of the fastest growing LOS providers in the mortgage industry. Previous to that, Ribultan was also a business development manager at Commerce Velocity, Inc., a mortgage technology software firm. His career has rapidly advanced in part due to his networking abilities.

In 2010 National Mortgage Professional magazine named Steve to its annual “Top 40 Under 40 Most Influential Mortgage Professional” list. He was also voted to Orange County Metro magazine’s prestigious “Top 40 Under 40” list in 2011.

Steve is an active member of the Mortgage Banking Association of America, the California Mortgage Bankers Association, the Mortgage Action Alliance and the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals.
