Introduction:
All distribution plans come in two “flavors” which can initially make our service plans a little confusing. One way to look at it is Toyota and Lexus — same car underneath (often a Camry), but the Lexus has more features, yet doesn't get you to work any quicker on the freeway.
So, we may have a Standard Level National distribution plan which provides services from Send2Press Newswire; and then an Extended National version of that plan which "extends" what we do with dissemination services from strategic partners in addition to our Standard service.
COLOR CODING: to make finding differences between plan levels a little easier, you will note the Standard plans will have a blue color highlight, while Extended plans wtill have a red highlight.

Send2Press “Flat Rate” Plan Program
Introduction:
Send2Press recently launched a BETA test program for select agency clients which allows them to self-post properly formatted (to AP style), and fully proofed, content into our news engine. This new CMS is fairly simple to use, based on the WordPress (WP 3.5+) engine.
News is then syndicated across the Neotrope News Network, to social media like Twitter, and to Google News and partners like Contify, HTMedia, Newsbank, etc. (who in turn provide our news to folks like LexisNexis and Thomson-Reuters). It's also included in our daily opt-in summary push by e-mail to 350+ bloggers and journalists.
We are now in the final testing phase for both usability and streamlining the support (“how to”) materials, and will be launching this formally very soon with three plan levels. How to Order Services
- How to Order:
All Services are pre-paid and ordered online through our Online Order Center, which is PCI-DSS certified fully secure. Our payment gateway is powered by Authorize.net, which is owned by VISA. We do not accept phone orders (for your protection), mail orders (checks or money orders), fax orders, or drop-offs.
- Business Hours:
Our normal business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Pacific Time (PST/PDT, California, USA); closed weekends and major U.S. holidays. You may schedule a release to push over the wire either default of “ASAP” which is typically 1-3 hours depending on time of day and workload; or you may schedule for future day/time such as 7 a.m. EST/EDT.
- Payment Methods:
We accept all major credit cards. Optionally, you can pay with PayPal (except international clients outside U.S./Canada), which also supports e-check payments from your bank account (PP may hold e-check payments up to 3 days; so not recommended for rush news). There is no annual or monthly* membership fee for our distribution plans (*note: optional flat-rate plans require monthly/annual fee; but this is unrelated to our normal distribution and writing services).
- International Orders:
For our clients outside the U.S., all international cards which do not support AVS (address verification service) will be required to fax/scan photocopy of credit card for security verification as well as sign the authorization form.
- Third Party Credit Cards:
Orders using a third-party credit card (client, boss, spouse/parent, etc.) will be required to have card holder sign and return a one-time authorization form for your use of the card.
- Open Account Billing:
We no longer offer “open account” billing (line of credit). This allows us to offer so-called “agency pricing” to all our clients.
- Public Company News:
All news releases which contain a stock ticker symbol must be “material” to that company (e.g., from the company, partnership announcement, or similar; use in mention of a former employee, in competitive language, or similar not allowed). News containing a ticker symbol must provide a signed authorization form; signed by an authorized person at the publicly traded company. We do not accept “opinions” about stocks, or round-ups of facts about groups of companies in a specific industry containing multiple tickers. Inquire if this is not clear.
- Where to Submit Project:
Projects are submitted on our simple Project Form after checkout (payment) is completed. The form allows you to specify the push time, media contact info, who to send reporting to, and is where you upload your word processor file(s) and image(s). It also allows you to specify certain custom SEO parameters such as #hashtags. You should fully review our Requirements + FAQs prior to submitting any project (basic format and content requirements are also found with the Project Form for your convenience).
