SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Sept. 6, 2016 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The California Tuberculosis (TB) Controllers Association welcomes the United States Prevention Services Task Force (USPSTF) rating published Sept. 6 in the Journal of the American Medical Association, recommending the testing of adults at risk for TB exposure. This recommendation is focused on people born in countries with high rates of TB and those who have lived in congregate settings, such as homeless shelters.
