One-Day Workshop Focuses on Critical Waste Responsibilities in New York State
ALBANY, N.Y., May 3 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Lion Technology Inc., a nationally recognized regulatory compliance training firm, will present its one-day Managing Hazardous Waste in New York workshop series during the month of June. This training program is designed to help the regulated community meet New York's annual training mandate. Workshops will be held in Buffalo on June 7; Syracuse on June 9; White Plains on June 11; Rochester on June 14; Albany on June 16; and Long Island on June 18, 2010.Many companies are required to comply with the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) regulations regarding the generation and handling of hazardous waste. Employees must know how to properly identify waste, handle and store waste, manifest and package waste for shipment, and assure proper waste treatment and disposal.
