Chef Wendie Huffman received her formal chef training at
the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. During her culinary
career she has served up her talents as an Executive Chef of The Last
Mango, in Newport Beach, California; St. Joseph's Hospital, in Orange,
California; The Pines at Genesee in Colorado; and in her own business.
She has also served as an Executive Pastry Chef at Strings in Denver,
Colorado; a baker, a consultant, a teacher and a party planner. She has
founded and managed her own restaurant, catering company and wholesale
baking company.
She currently owns and operates "Touché a Tout, Catering, Event Planning
and Culinary Instruction" in Southern California and she travels the
country teaching cooking classes and speaking about food.
As part of her desire to instruct others on the benefits of quality
cuisine at home, Chef Wendie also teaches in-home cooking classes for
individuals and couples. Through her company, she offers a series of
dinner party classes for five or more couples, and is available for large
groups who are interested in fund-raising.
Additionally, Chef Wendie teaches corporate "Team Building" cooking
