New Long Term Care Insurance Service Focuses on Women and Those They Love
LTC4women Will Link American Women with Female Long Term Care Insurance Agents Throughout the Nation.PORT ORCHARD, Wash., May 11 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Women live longer than men and are America's primary caregivers. Yet too often they sacrifice their time, jobs, savings and serenity looking after a debilitated spouse or parent. Furthermore, while attending to those significant others, they often neglect planning for their own care. "This is a huge national problem," says Jenny Fassett, President of newly-formed LTC4women, a limited liability company based in Port Orchard, Washington. "Millions of women are suffering unnecessarily; and the whole economy is suffering too, through loss of productivity of the female workforce." LTC4women was formed to help solve this problem. The company will act as an educational resource and intermediary between women and female long term care insurance agents. "These agents are naturally attuned to women's needs and specially trained to serve them," says Fassett. LTC4women is not a long term care insurance agency, and has no agents of its own. Rather, "We're communicators and matchmakers between women and state-certified agents serving all states." LTC4women has formed an agreement with LTC Financial Partners LLC (LTCFP), one of the nation's largest and most experienced long term care insurance agencies. "LTCFP has hundreds of female agents all over the country, so they're a natural partner," says Fassett. "We'll be referring women to them on a state-by-state basis." Information is available on the LTC4women Web site at www.ltc4women.net.  On the site, women may learn --• Facts about the special impact on women (for example, the results of a study reporting a high percentage of women forced to quit their jobs or take a leave of absence as a result of care giving). • If long term care insurance is right for them (for example, whether in their circumstance they might be better off relying on a public program such as Medicaid). • How to link up with a state-certified female agent in their area, if LTC insurance seems right for them or a loved one. The female agents are equipped to recommend LTC protection for male family members as well as women. The site promotes "Vital protection for yourself and your partner, parents, and others -- to help protect your savings and pay for professional care when needed."
