(OTC BB: CYNW) announced today the completion of the installation of wireless hot-spots in the guest rooms and public areas of the Shangri-La Hotel Taipei. City Network has provided the hotel with WN-AP-5411 wireless IEEE802.11 and 802.11b access products for its guests and employees' use. The event marked a significant advance in the introduction of wireless Internet access into the public domain in Asia. In the year 2003, City Network has made tremendous steps in making wireless Internet access open and ubiquitous throughout the community. With the introduction of wireless terminals at McDonald's restaurants throughout Taiwan as well as this most recent effort with one of Taiwan's most popular and well known hotels, City Network is well on the way to establishing itself as a premier player in this hot new sector. The Far Eastern Shangri-La Taipei project was obtained earlier this year through open bidding amongst an intense group of very capable competitors. The fact that City Network was able to compete with some of the region's most well known producers and agents of wireless equipment and win the project outright demonstrates that the company's quality products and services are top-level and have been recognized by some very notable customers. "We are happy about this newest project as it has brought a great deal of notoriety to our company and has set the stage to allow us to gain more business with other potential hotels and new business clients," said Alice Chen, Director and President of Sales for City Network. City Network has already completed the bottom eight floors of the Far Eastern Shangri-La Hotel in Taipei and plans on completing the remaining floors in the coming weeks. As a result of winning this contract, City Network has procured yet another series of contracts to install similar wireless equipment in a local chain of hotels called Charming Hotels and Serviced Apartments (www.city-hotel.com.tw). This contract has already begun and much of the equipment destined for this customer has already been shipped. With over 25 hotels and individual apartment centers, this new cooperation is yet another milestone for City Network in the exciting and lucrative wireless internet market.
