Direct Wireless Communications, Inc. Announces Board and Management
Changes

WACO, TEXAS - (Send2Press Newswire) - October 27, 2003 -- Direct
Wireless Communications, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DWCM), today
announced the resignation of Dr. Bill G. Williams as Chairman and CEO of
the Company effective October 23, 2003.

Dr. Williams in a letter to the company stated, "As you know, being in
charge of a public company is a very complicated and time consuming
occupation. People who run public companies must have the time,
motivation and management knowledge to take the company to its fullest
potential. While I certainly believe that I have most of these
attributes, due to the complexity of the genomic technology and the fact
that I have other interests that are very time consuming, I realized
that I was not going to have the amount of time I believed was required
to run a public company of this magnitude."

The Board of Directors immediately appointed Stephen D. Barnhill, M.D.,
current President and Medical Director of the Company, to serve as the
company's new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Stephen D. Barnhill, M.D., is a Physician trained in Laboratory
Medicine/Clinical Pathology and a Pioneer in the development of
Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition Computational Techniques
used in Medicine, Genomics, Proteomics, Diagnostics and Drug Discovery.
Dr. Barnhill is a co-inventor on the first neural network patents used
in medicine, which were acquired by Johnson & Johnson. He is also the
inventor of the first support vector machine patents used in medicine
for genomic discovery. Dr. Barnhill founded and was CEO of the Barnhill
Clinical Laboratories, which was acquired by Quest Diagnostics.

Upon accepting his appointment as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,
Dr. Barnhill said, "We appreciate Dr. William's contributions to the
Company and wish him every success in his future endeavors."
