The accumulation of malignant cells interferes with the body's production of healthy blood cells and makes the body unable to protect itself against infections. According to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), over 30,000 new cases of leukemia are diagnosed each year in the United States alone. Direct Wireless Communications, Inc. is in the process of changing its name to Health Discovery Corporation. Health Discovery Corporation was established in September 2003 to become the world's first fully integrated biomarker Discovery Company. The Company will provide pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies with all aspects of "first phase" diagnostic and drug discovery.
