PRESS RELEASE Of interest to editors and journalists covering: Business, Sports/Tennis, Health/Fitness, General Editorial, CA News SuperCoach International Announces the First Fully Programmable Tennis Ball Machine on the Market - the Most Advanced in the World Today SUNNYVALE, Calif. - October 7, 2004 /Send2Press Newswire/ -- SuperCoach International, Inc. (www.tennismachine.com), based in Silicon Valley, developed the machine to make practice and coaching more interesting for all level of players, from beginners to professionals. With the SuperCoach, the player can play entire games receiving different kinds of balls for each stoke, to improve reaction time and conditioning. It even calculates the player's workout calories, which are spent if all the balls are returned. No more boring practices, where the player or the coach has to spend more time adjusting the machine for a different kind of ball to be served, than improving the players technique or conditioning. With the SuperCoach, the player can play entire games. It can serve a different kind of ball (flat, topspin, backspin and lob) for each stokes to anywhere on the court and in any sequence. The SuperCoach can be programmed beforehand to deliver balls anywhere on the court, from right behind the net to the baseline, using flat, topspin, slice and lobe strokes, and each stroke can be a different in type and location. The computer can save twenty-eight (28) custom programs, which can have up to 30 strokes each. Each routine program can be played back in 10 different levels. A second programming mode allows the user to customize up to sixteen (16) stokes for speed, spin, trajectory and location on the court. An additional eight of these programs can be saved and replayed any time. The machine is programmed through an easily understandable Control Panel, specifying the level, the location and the type of the stroke for each ball in a sequence, then push "PLAY," and lets the game begin. Although it is admittedly more fun to play with a partner, but according to the company's spokesman, the majority of the players who experienced playing against SuperCoach found it to be as close to a real partner as possible. Coaches and players can use the machine to practice weak points in the player's game, and the coach now can concentrate on the player's technique, instead of trying to place the ball to the right place on the court, not to mention, with the right speed. The machine will never get tired or bored, and it will place the balls at the right place at the right time, every time. The SuperCoach is much more flexible and fun than any other machine on the market, and once you tried it, you will never return to any other kind. The mechanics is manufactured to very high tolerances and durability, and the electronics is very sophisticated to provide the best performance currently available on the market. It can be as challenging to a tennis player as "Deep Blue" was to a chess player.
