Tailored for participants in the Young Science Achievers Program (YSAP), the event will take place at Princeton University Friends Center on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 - 4:00 pm. The event coincides with National Engineers Week (Feb. 22-28, 2004), which works to raise awareness and understanding of what engineers do and how they contribute to our everyday lives and the world. The Viva Technology program works to motivate the students to pursue careers in engineering, science and technology. The YSAP students from New York and New Jersey high schools have been selected to participate in this prestigious program through a competitive application process. YSAP works with minority and female high school students to realize their potential for science and technology by providing them with the resources and technical support they need to succeed.
