Press Release:
Internet Casino Buys Head of Grateful Dead's Head - GoldenPalace.com Buys Four of Jerry Garcia's Toilets
BELVEDERE-TIBURON, CA (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Internet casino GoldenPalace.com has touched a nation of hippies and Deadheads, as well as a worthy charity, with their latest eBay purchase of four toilets formerly owned by the legendary Jerry Garcia.
The casino paid just over $5000 to buy the toilets from Henry Koltys, who bought Garcia's 7500-sq-ft house at auction in 1997. He decided that he would sell the items in the house, with the money going to charity. Proceeds from the auction will go to The Sophia Foundation, and Kids-First Custody and Parenting Software.

"We appreciate this donation by GoldenPalace.com to help the Sophia Foundation create a free version of KidsFirst! parenting software to help protect children during separation or divorce," said Koltys. "We look forward to further collaboration with GoldenPalace.com to obtain additional contributions and are glad to know the toilets are in good hands. With over 1 million divorces in the US and Canada each year, over half with children, there is a real need to help parents avoid conflict and focus on the children."
"We are happy to be able to help such a worthy cause and wish The Sophia Foundation all the best in their efforts," said GoldenPalace.com spokesperson Drew Black. "We plan to include Mr. Garcia's toilets in our traveling museum, along with our other eccentric items. Expect the museum's long strange trip to be coming to a town near you sometime this year."
GoldenPalace.com wants fans to have some fun with this acquisition, allowing them to take a load off while sitting on the Deadhead King's throne, and maybe even take a picture of their moving experience.
Setting the standard in marketing creativity, GoldenPalace.com has devised some of the most exciting and outrageous advertising campaigns in the past few years. Recently, items such as William Shatner's Kidney Stone, Britney Spears Pregnancy Test, and the Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich have garnered extensive worldwide media attention for the casino. GoldenPalace.com has also used several of their advertising campaigns to generate over one million dollars for various charities worldwide.
