Allworx Small Business VoIP Solutions 'Break All the Rules' on Price, Functionality, Ease of Use
Tue, 14 Mar 2006, 15:32:00 EDT
At VON show, Allworx Showcases Full Product Lineup Unsurpassed in the SMB Market
SAN JOSE, CA (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- VON Conference -- Revolutionary new solutions announced today by Allworx® (www.allworx.com) deliver on the promise of VoIP telephony for small businesses by overcoming the daunting price and functionality obstacles of other suppliers.
At the Spring 2006 VON Conference & Expo, Allworx is launching state-of-the-art products for small businesses, which bolster its lineup of VoIP and analog phone/communications systems, office phones and software. Allworx's new solutions eliminate the compromises that small businesses have had to make when transitioning to VoIP technology - offering all of VoIP's benefits, without losing any of the traditional phone features they enjoy.
"Competitors' product offerings have not made VoIP a realistic option for small businesses - they're too expensive, they lack the full features of traditional systems and they're too complex to install and use," said George E. Daddis Jr., CEO and President of InSciTek Microsystems, Allworx's parent company. "Today, Allworx is changing all that - with total solutions that break all the rules on price, functionality and ease of use."
Allworx is unveiling a new phone system, a new office phone and a software-based answering position at the show (in booth #725). Customers not only benefit from the feature-rich solutions, they also can take advantage of Allworx's industry-lowest installation costs (less than $500 per user installed).
* The Allworx 6x communications/phone system. At a starting price of $1,800, this system allows the SMB market, for the first time ever, to transition to VoIP without giving up any of the traditional features they enjoy today - eliminating all disruption in their business. The Allworx 6x, Allworx 10x system and Allworx phones are state-of-the-art replacement solutions for millions of traditional (TDM) PBX and key phone systems - at comparable price points.
* The Allworx 9102 office phone. This new offering is ideal for users with low call volumes who want the operational and cost advantages of a VoIP office communications system. Its affordable price of $225 enables businesses to convert all their handsets to VoIP. The 9102 provides virtually all the features of the Allworx 9112 VoIP-based phone, including Allworx's industry-unique, "plug-and-play" remote capabilities in a 2-line configuration. Like the Allworx 9112 phone, the 9102 is compatible across the full line of Allworx servers.
* The Allworx Call Assistant. This software solution, which works in conjunction with any Allworx phone, eliminates the need to purchase an expensive, bulky attendant phone to get the power of enterprise attendant functions. The Call Assistant, which delivers enhanced on-site and remote-phone monitoring and pinpoint control over call traffic, will be available in mid-June 2006. It will be priced at $650 for Allworx 6x customers and at $850 for Allworx 10x customers (including a one-time licensing fee for unlimited users).
* Allworx 9112 MSRP price reduction. The company also announced that its Allworx 9112 VoIP 12-line phone will be even more affordable for customers. Due to the overall market success of its products, the company is able to pass along cost-savings to customers and announced a 30 percent price reduction on the 9112 - making the phone's price comparable to today's high-end traditional phones. Thus, customers can now purchase a VoIP business class phone without paying a premium.

"With the revolutionary solutions Allworx is offering exclusively to small businesses, it's clear that no other VoIP supplier is as singularly focused on the SMB market as we are," Daddis added. "Allworx is the only choice for complete, turnkey systems that will dramatically save small businesses money from day-one at installation and continually in their monthly telephone bills. What's more, our systems will increase their productivity and let them make the transition on their terms."
