PHILADELPHIA, Miss., Oct. 16 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- MEDIA ADVISORY: TONIGHT, OCTOBER 16 AT 7:00 P.M. - In conjunction with the first annual Blues at The Moon Music Festival at Golden Moon Hotel & Casino, a Blues Symposium and Jam Session will take place this evening at the Old Ellis Theatre in Philadelphia. The free event is open to the public.

Led by Dr. Alfonso Sanders, head of the Fine Arts Department at Mississippi Valley State University, and recording artist Bill "Howl-N-Madd" Perry, the session will explore the history of Blues and be punctuated by a jam session.

Both the discussion and the jam session will provide photo opportunities.
