On April 29th, an insurance office was broken into and several items, including a sales laptop, were stolen. That night, the stolen computer was used and started sending covert alerts to The CyberAngel Security Monitoring Center, providing the location details from where that computer was being used. CSS, Inc. alerted local law enforcement authorities and provided them with the location information to be able to secure a search warrant for the premises. The thief was arrested, and confessed to another 10 burglaries of businesses in the area. The police not only recovered the stolen computer, but also many items stolen from several of the other burglaries.
